Job Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Payroll and Benefits Specialist to manage payroll, benefits administration, and HR operations for the Country operations. This role requires a hands-on approach to data management, audit facilitation, and compensation analysis, while also contributing to global compensation projects, including the Global Merit Process. The ideal candidate is open to taking on additional responsibilities beyond traditional payroll tasks, with the ability to lead key HR projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Input Management:
- Effectively manage the payroll input process, ensuring accurate data feeding, validation, and processing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth payroll cycles.
- Data Handling & Analysis:
- Manage and validate large datasets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Perform in-depth data analysis related to payroll, compensation, and benefits.
- Audit Management:
- Facilitate and lead both internal and external audits.
- Ensure all payroll processes comply with audit requirements and regulations.
- HR Operations:
- Manage HR operations, including people data management.
- Support broader HR initiatives, going beyond core payroll duties when necessary.
Statutory and Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure payroll and benefits processes comply with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax laws and labor regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation affecting payroll and benefits administration, ensuring timely adjustments to maintain compliance.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies as needed to provide required documentation and ensure adherence to all regulatory obligations.
Compensation & Benefits Analysis:
- Assist with the review and revision of salary ranges and compensation structures.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support compensation strategies and planning.
- Oversee and manage the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of benefit-related operations.
Learning Agility & Leadership:
- Demonstrate an ability to quickly pick up new tasks and concepts, developing expertise as needed.
- Potentially lead key HR and payroll-related projects, taking on responsibility for execution and delivery.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in payroll processes, statutory and compliance, HR operations, compensation and benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of data management.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless execution of payroll, benefits, audits and compensation processes.
- Analytical mindset and detail-oriented, with a focus on managing large datasets and drawing insights.
- Learning agility with the ability to adapt quickly to new tools, systems, and processes.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge and experience in HR Operations is a plus, with a willingness to take on broader HR administrative tasks.
- Strong project management skills with a willingness to take initiative and lead when required.
