Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Project Management Specialist 3 to join our team located in Tukwila, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development and executions of individual projects for the program
  • Develops program organizational, work structures, scheduling, and execution plans
  • Identifies key program-level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners, and customers
  • Facilitates the resolution of program issues
  • Supports the program manager and program lead in program execution by coordinating program metrics
  • Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices
  • Implements customer and program communication and contact plans

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location option. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management
  • 3+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment
  • 3+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees and all levels of leadership
  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment
  • Experience with aircraft modification

Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3-5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education

Summary pay range: $93,500 - $126,500
