Onstar Sales Business Manager (Level 7)

Job Description

Communication 

  • Become the main point of contact for OnStar related issues between Dealership, GM and OnStar team. 
  • Keep close communication with Sales Managers, General Managers and Service Managers of the dealerships to solve questions or comments about OnStar Operation.
  • Communicate on time and effectively the Onstar Objectives, plans and service improvements to Dealerships in order to ensure an appropriate knowledge and execution of actions, programs and strategies define by OnStar. 
  • Organize and coordinate meetings between OnStar team and Dealerships to improve performance. 
  • Develop a strong and confident relationship with dealership management in order to improve OnStar appraisal and performance at the Dealership. 

 

Performance Measure 

  • Follow up the OnStar KPI´s to determine opportunity areas at the Dealership. 
  •  Create action plans together with dealerships to ensure appropriate Onstar KPI´s levels. 
  • Provide OnStar Management reports of the activities carried out at the Dealerships in order to improve its performance 
  • Ensure the compliance of goal set for Dealerships regarding to Enrollments, Pre-Enrollments and customer registration. 
  • Define monthly plans and agendas to visit dealers according to their impact and potential for OnStar performance. 
  • Reduce the cancelation rate of OnStar packages at dealers. 
  • Generate and implement incentive programs to increase OnStar sales at Dealers. 
  • Develop OnStar sales program for all Dealer segments; new, pre-owned and service lane. 

Operation Support 

  • Identify dealership training needs and work together with dealership management in its improvement. 
  • Provide support to dealerships to solve issues related to daily operation 
  • Supervise the right use of pop material or training materials at the dealership sales floor. 
  • Keep a stretch communication with OnStar Marketing management and Sales management to provide feedback of the opportunities identified on field. 
  • Generate reporting dashboards to track dealer’s performance. 
  • Operate dealer incentive programs to secure right and timely payments. 

Knowledge / Experience

  • 4+ years of experience
  • Subscription model experience 
  • Experience in the car business
  • OEM or dealership, New Car sales experience
  • General Automotive product knowledge 
  • Desire experience in Subscription Companies
