Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Quality Systems Specialist to join our Quality team located in Berkeley, MO

This position serves as a Quality Specialist on the T-7 Redhawk program supporting Non-Conformance metrics and defect trend analysis. Successful candidates will have significant background in cross team partnering, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Extracting, analyzing, and reporting of Nonconformance (NCR) data including Cost of Rework, Repair, and Scrap (CoRRS), and other quality metrics
  • Creating Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) decks and facilitating CAPA presentations with program and customer leaders to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance
  • Creation and submittal of Quality contractual deliverables (e.g. CDRLs)
  • Performs Data analytics and Collective Analysis to find patterns and issues to elevate to program leaders to drive continuous improvement
  • Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation.
  • Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, analyzing data, and generating metrics reports
  • 3+ years of experience working in a Quality job role
  • 3+ years or experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

 Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
  • Experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: USD 80,750 – 109,250
