Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) Supply Chain Systems is currently looking for a Mid-Level Functional Analyst to function in an SAP Material Management role for our Functional team in either Hazelwood, MO; Plano, TX; Seattle, WA; Renton WA; Kent WA; Everett, WA; or Miami, FL. 

This position will focus on implementation and support of SAP projects based on S/4 HANA technology. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with multiple stakeholders including business, solution architects and developers to implement SAP projects.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes strong purchasing knowledge with an understanding of SAP Ariba, Production, PM, SD, WM/EWM and TM to design and configure SAP S/4 HANA systems

  • Integrates S/4 HANA solution with non-SAP external systems and internal Boeing legacy systems

  • Participates in requirement gathering, document preparation, End-to-End Solution design, functional specification preparation, realization and deployment

  • Identifies, recommends, and implements complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation

  • Develops, reviews, and maintain functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders, SI (vendor consultant) partners, and application developers

  • Participates in the project delivery during testing cycles and leads the root cause analysis and correction of issues

  • Contributes for overall project management plan using SAP Activate methodology

  • Researches processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design

  • Consults with customers to clarify and refine requirements

  • Interprets and translates requirements into functional specifications

  • Develops and executes tests to validate system functionality against specifications

  • Collaborates with cross functional teams comprising of business SMEs, architects, developers and SIs (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ of experience with SAP Material Management/Procurement

  • 3+ years of experience with SAP, S/4 HANA

  • 1+ years of experience MM purchasing implementation projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Certifications in either SAP MM or S/4 HANA Sourcing and Procurement

  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods

  • Experience with SAP testing tools and other SAP line of business products

  • Experience in aerospace and defense industry

  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA and Fiori

  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager

  • Experience in supply chain business models and SAP Procure to Pay

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $87,550 – $118,450
