Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery related to our scientific projects.
2. Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
3. Coordinate with other team members to implement and evaluate mechanical systems.
4. Utilize 3D printing technology for prototyping and part production.
5. Perform mechanical maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and functionality of our equipment.
6. Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs.
7. Analyze problems to see how mechanical and thermal devices might help solve a particular problem.
8. Ensure all established safety regulations are adhered to.
9. Use PLC in designing and troubleshooting mechanical systems.
10. Manage project timelines, resources, and budget effectively.
Qualifications:
1. BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proven experience with 3D Printing, Mechanical Maintenance, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
4. Extensive knowledge in PLC and manufacturing processes.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to work in a team and independently.
8. Proficiency in using various software for designing and drafting.
9. Strong project management skills.
10. Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
