WHAT TO EXPECT:

As the Manufactiring Programme Engineer for Industrial Operations Programme Delivery (IOPD) Manufacturing, you’ll be responsible for leading and co-ordinating all Manufacturing business functions with the objective of enabling production solutions for new JLR Vehicle Programmes and achieving excellence in Manufacturing delivery to time, cost and quality targets. 

 



Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Support delivery of Programme against overall timing plan
  • Support the planning and delivery of manufacturing plans for delivery prototype, pre-production build phases
  • Support use of project management tools to support a smooth project delivery (Agile methodologies, P6)
  • Assist functional areas within  to drive quality products & processes with robust input into launch quality deliverables, high hurts process, PFMEAs etc
  • Lead cross functional reviews to address programme issues using issue management tools (AIM2, JIRA)

 



WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Project/Programme Management experience
  • Experience of Risk Management
  • Experience in using data driven problem solving techniques
  • Experience of working in a new product launch environment 
  • Demonstrable experience of process improvement and working in a project support role
