The Controller Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, forecasting, budgeting, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, and ensuring organizational financial stability.
General Responsibilities• Manages accounting operations and the preparation of annual financial forecasts• Maintains the integrity of the general ledger, including the review of accounting records and financial statements• Reviews, analyzes, and interprets financial and budgetary reports• Ensures that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported, and are in compliance with accounting guidelines and internal policies• Leads the developing, modifying and executing of company policies• Responsible for coordinating, administering, and controlling financial operations • Account and research for any budget variances, reporting significant discrepancies to management• Collaborate with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations• Supervises the development of financial accounting systems required to maintain reporting requirements• Manages accounting integration activities for post-acquisition closing, which includes but is not limited to, process mapping, accounting policy harmonization and systems integration• Recruits, trains, develops, coaches, and manages team to ensure priorities and deliverables are met• Develop goals and prepare performance assessments annually, in a timely manner
Experience / Qualifications• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
