We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Permanent Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of our equipment and systems, contributing to our mission of delivering top-quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Maintenance Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
2. Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with machinery and equipment, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
3. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand equipment and system layouts.
4. Conducting machinery maintenance, including the repair and replacement of parts, calibration of machines, and performance testing.
5. Handling electrical systems, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical components and wiring.
6. Collaborating with other team members to prioritize and schedule maintenance and repairs.
7. Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
8. Documenting all maintenance and repair work for reference and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Maintenance Mechanic position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
3. Strong knowledge of and experience with machinery maintenance and electrical systems.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
7. A commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
8. Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Systems, or a related field is a plus.
