We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Field Service Manager to join our team in the Energy industry. This role is pivotal in managing and maintaining our cutting-edge energy systems, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, and maintenance of our systems at various sites, managing a team of field service engineers, and liaising with clients to ensure satisfaction. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage a team of field service engineers, ensuring they are trained, equipped, and ready to deliver exceptional service.
2. Coordinate with clients to schedule installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
3. Use your knowledge of SQL and XML to analyze system data and identify potential areas for improvement.
4. Utilize IR sensors and Traffic Ground Loops to monitor system performance and quickly identify any issues.
5. Develop and implement service strategies in line with ITIL best practices, striving for continuous improvement.
6. Manage service contracts, ensuring they are fulfilled to the highest standard and renewed in a timely manner.
7. Create and present reports on service performance, highlighting successes and identifying areas for improvement.
8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience, from sales through to service.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and ensure your team is trained on any new technologies or techniques.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in the Energy industry.
2. Proven experience managing a team of field service engineers.
3. Strong knowledge of SQL and XML.
4. Experience with IR Sensors and Traffic Ground Loops.
5. Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering effective solutions in a timely manner.
8. A commitment to continuous improvement, always seeking ways to improve our service and performance.
9. A degree in a relevant field is preferred.
