Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Entry-Level System Administrator to join our team in Hertford, NC.

This position will support the Critical Infrastructure and Technology Team by running vulnerability scans, patching systems, and performing system upgrades.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists with hardware and software installation and disposition of servers to support the architecture
  • Assists with problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems
  • Assists with the implementation of established security requirements
  • Assists with performing system monitoring, backup and restore procedures to ensure system and data availability
  • Gathers IT infrastructure information across distributed systems and multiple support groups and assists in implementing system changes

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with System Administration
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing computing system hardware and software

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Virtual Servers
  • Experience working with U.S. Government Security Regulations
  • Experience with using NMapping, vulnerability and compliance scanning software for scanning stand alone networks
  • Experience with Bright Sign configuration

Typical Education/Experience: 
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Summary pay range: $60,550 - $68,450
