Job Details
Project Engineer (Engineering & Construction):
- Prepare designs, specifications and drawings for the repair and replacement/upgrade of building electrical and/or mechanical systems and other related systems/components.
- Create and Manage RFPs
- Lead Project Team and sub-contractors to ensure that projects are completed within established goals for quality, timeliness, budget, profitability, safety and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and organize project management activities - reviewing and updating the budget, preparing and updating a project schedule, and establishing project communications, standards and files.
- Perform analysis and evaluations of existing electrical and building systems
- Maintain detailed records on installation, cabling, UPS, HVAC, fire, generators, security and mechanical systems
- Ensure that established goals for quality, timeliness, budget, profitability, safety and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Seeking a Mechanical -OR- Technical Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or other related field required
- 3+ years relevant work experience in Data Center or Mission Critical Facility such as Hospital, Pharmaceutical, Laboratory, etc.
- Proficient in planning and scheduling, and exhibit excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent time management & ability to manage competing priorities with
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication
- Knowledge of construction planning, mechanical/electrical systems, building controls, fire systems, security systems, etc.
- Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project and Auto Cad desired.
MUST be willing to travel as needed to visit clients
