Demand & Supply Planning Coordinator

What you will do/Responsibilities:

The position is responsible for coordinating demand and supplier capacity to attend GM production volume, preparing suppliers for possible variations in forecast and product program. The position communicates with all levels of the organization, within the function, as well as other functions and suppliers.

 

Function description:

  • Create guidance plans to align supplier capacity and manufacturing capacity with demand.

  • Guidance plans are updated, at the minimum, with each new business plan released.

  • Analyze and approve/disapprove staged capacity requests from suppliers (e-approvals)

  • Analyze all CR’s and communicate impacts to program purchasing on time.

  • Coordinate supplier capacity improvement until implementation

  • Support plant transitions including uplifts, build outs, and launches.

  • Support scheduling with remix changes to ensure supplier capacity.

  • Support PET, DSB, PPM, Purchasing and Supply chain teams as needed.

Additional Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineer, or related careers.

  • +4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Manufacturing and/or Program Purchasing, or related positions.

  • MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI): Intermediate level.

  • English: Advanced level.

  • Availability to work in Sao Caetano Do Sul, Sao Paulo, Brazil, in a hybrid regime (3 times per week in person).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Desirable knowledge in Data Analytics tools (Knime, SQL, VBA, Phyton or related).
