Your Role:

  • Regional responsibility for new products implementation

  • Implementation and verification of customer requirements for managed projects.

  • Identification of new trends in material engineering, with regard to client needs and portfolio development.

  • Creation of Cable Portfolio and Road-map for CBU.

  • Active participation in R&D and Cable&Material Engineering group activities

  • Supervision of new products validation (definition of raw materials, testing setup, scope of tests, evaluation of results, new tests proposals, etc)

  • Supervision of project timings, deadlines and assessment of milestones for Cable projects (Product and Production projects) – from the RFQ to serial production and/or project transfer

  • Support to business assessments, cable prices for development and implementation projects

  • Technical support for individual project leaders / owners: Investment Manager, Business Planning Manager and Process Manager

  • Support in project evaluations, planning, risk assessment and business cases for new development projects and inquiries from external customers, complaint procedures for first materials and products

  • Supporting and complying with all internal / external audit controls

  • Collecting, updating and sharing experience from previous projects

  • Establishing strong relationships with external and internal customers, suppliers and project leaders.

  • Understanding and applying quality systems as well as health and safety rules and procedures

  • Proper organization of work, determining the order of tasks and reporting to the supervisor, as well as timely implementation of entrusted tasks

  • Close cooperation with teams implementing products, processes, integrating processes, production and quality.

  • Provide leadership and project and resource planning for the Cable & Materials Engineering at the regional level

  •  Planning and execution of sustainability projects dedicated to Cable&Material Engineering

Your Background:

  • Engineering degree (Chemical, Material Science, Metallurgy, Mechanical, Electrical or similar

  • General work experience 8 years

  • Ability to speak, read and write English 

  • Experience in automotive industry

  • Experience in cable & material engineering field

  • Presentation skills

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office

  • Willingness to travel ( abroad )

Nice to Have:

  • Cable constructions and types knowledge

  • Material calculations, engineering cost estimations

  • Materials and process engineering background and knowledge

  • Experience in leading of R&D projects

  • Knowledge in plastics chemistry

  • Production and testing equipment knowledge

  • Cable and cable components production organization knowledge

  • Cable quality knowledge

  • Statistical data analyze
