Position Overview

Autodesk is a global technology company that creates software products and services for the architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, automotive, media and entertainment industries.

We are looking for an accomplished Business Consultant in any of the South European Region to join our EMEA Manufacturing Consulting team as part of our Enterprise Programme working with Autodesk's largest customers.

As a Business Consultant, you will work with our clients to develop their digital strategies, define criteria for success, assess current process and project performance, create value justification for projects, and prepare to implement solutions that produce meaningful results.

Dependent on where you are located you will either be a hybrid or remote worker the region you are supporting. You will report to the Senior Consulting Manager EMEA Manufacturing and be part of an international team of Business Consultants and Solution Architects.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the customer at the executive and senior business leader level to understand their vision, pains and their business strategy, goals & processes
  • Recommend approaches to achieve customer goals
  • Collaborate with other Autodesk peers to prepare and present solutions to customers
  • Use Change Management principles and tools to define and implement enterprise adoption strategies for Autodesk solutions
  • Help prepare, review, and manage high quality documents including proposals, business assessments and recommendations, business process analysis and workflow documentation.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to succeed using Autodesk Solutions
  • Facilitate efficient decision-making processes and issue resolution
  • Participate in sales and proposal presentations and identify additional product/services opportunities in customer organisation
  • Become a trusted advisor as an industry thought leader through identifying, creating, and promoting compelling insights related to area of expertise
  • Lead engagements with customers and act as a representative at executive level

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of strategic experience in the Manufacturing industries with focus on Engineering Product Design domain and its CAD/CAM and PDM/PLM technologies and/or Factory Planning and Factory Management
  • 3+ years of experience working on digital transformation programs in the Manufacturing and/or Factory Planning and Factory Management domain
  • Experience with the associated Industry Vision, Trends and Solutions
  • Insights into Supply Chain Management, Automotive, Aerospace and Process Plant industry are an advantage
  • You will travel up to 50% to Autodesk events and customer meetings
  • English and Italian language is mandatory, fluency in a third south European (French, Spanish) language is an advantage
