About this position

We are seeking data analyst who needs to meet business requirements for Connection Systems Global Sales function in particular to Sales Operations.

Business analyst will be functionally part of the global sales operations team and will support the global leaders in execution of sales operations, development of systems / processes, management of operational systems ensuring good / consistent data quality in business data and monitoring / reporting of business performance as required.

The incumbent needs to engage with multiple business functions like Sales, Product Line Management, Engineering, Operations and IT as required.

Job responsibilities

  • Will be responsible to meet all business data analytics requirements from Global Sales functions.

  • Propose, develop and implement solutions for improved monitoring, controlling and reporting of global sales performance (opportunities, bookings, billings). Data analysis to identify and report existing or potential issues / concerns within the sales processes.

  • Develop solutions or reports using the various business tools (Excel, Power query, Qlik Sense, NPrinting, SharePoint, Access) as appropriate and implement the same.

  • Support the Sales Operations team in process automations / optimizations through the creation and implementation of advanced BI tool enablers.

  • Will be responsible to manage / maintain business data sets required for business operations or analytics.

  • Support in maintenance of various tools or applications used in sales operations : Salesforce, Pricing Systems (SAP / QAD), Qlik sense (Business intelligence), E-catalogue, Displacement database, Engineering database etc…

  • Ensure timely / accurate execution of Global sales operations that are centralized to be carried out from India office for optimizing the processes.

  • Need to interact with the teams globally on a day-to-day basis. Need to communicate, collaborate and report to global managers and directors on various business requirements.

  • Ad hoc reporting, data sanity / data integrity checks

Basic qualifications

  • Graduation / Post Graduation in any stream.

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in business / data analysis.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen ability to effectively and professionally communicate at all levels (internally and externally).

  • Good project management skills

  • Experience in Salesforce system desired

  • Knowledge in business analysis tools required – Qlik sense, Excel, PowerBI, Tableau

  • Knowledge in ERPs desirable – SAP, QAD
