HiQ Tyres & Autocare are part of Goodyear Tyres UK Franchise business. We have over 115 centres across the UK and offer MOT, Servicing, Tyres and General Mechanical Work to consumers.
We are looking for a full or part time Automotive Centre Manager to support with invoicing, booking customers into the centre plus giving advice to customers. IT skills very important. Mechanical background would be an advantage but not essential to this role. This role includes the responsibility of leading a small team.
HiQ Honiton is a well established provider of automotive services and has been doing so very successfully for many years with dedication to fantastic customer service. Our friendly and professional team offers a large spectrum of services ranging from advice on tyres, regular maintenance and repairs through to diagnostics, working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday 08:30am - 12:00pm.
We are now looking for someone driven and motivated to manage our team and day to day running of this busy garage in Hereford and continue HiQ’s fantastic reputation and service in the local area.
Job Description As the manager of this busy garage, you will play a vital part in the team with constantly varied tasks throughout the day. You will be overseeing daily operations, coordinating staff and their jobs for the day whilst delivering automotive services at a very high standard and ensuring the highest customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities-
· Managing day to day operations of the garage ensuring seamless and efficient service.
· Supervising, aiding and mentoring other garage staff.
· Implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
· Ensuring high standards of customer service and addressing customer issues efficiently.
· Adhering to, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety procedures and garage rules and regulations.
· Stock taking and control of ordering parts and supplies efficiently.
· Keeping communication regular and positive with all staff members to aid efficient running of the workshop, efficient job lengths and minimal wait times for customers.
· Scheduling customer vehicle appointments and the jobs for each working day.
· Invoicing, job sheet creation, banking and cashing up.
Qualifications and Experience-
· Candidate must have previous and demonstrated experience in a managerial role in an automotive environment.
· Experience in automotive repair and maintenance and a proven track record of technical and mechanical expertise with advanced understanding of automotive systems and procedures.
· Proficiency in using computer systems and software for record- keeping, reporting and scheduling as well as generating invoices and handling payments.
· Proficiency with automotive service software.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills.
· Fantastic customer service skills, good communication and interpersonal skills.
· A full UK driving license.

· Basic salary of 28-32k full time (experience dependent)
