Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Indirect Supply Chain (ISC) organization is seeking an Associate Procurement Agent to join our teams in Mesa AZ, Englewood, CO, Hazelwood, MO, Huntsville, AL, or North Charleston, SC. In this position, you will act as an authorized agent of the company with the responsibility to commit company resources through contracts and agreements for the procurement of goods and services.

You will create and manage supplier purchase contracts in support of various customers and Boeing funded projects. You will have the opportunity to work with the entire procurement life cycle to include developing supplier buy to packages, requests for proposal, evaluating bids, creating, and issuance of purchase contracts, and pre/post-award contract administration through closeout.

Overall, this position involves managing multiple subcontracts expeditiously, while ensuring that policies and procedures are followed. You may also have responsibilities to include issuance and administration of teaming agreements, proprietary information agreements, new business, and proposal support.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  • Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements
  • Support sourcing strategies, negotiations, and documenting of contracts and agreements
  • Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

The ideal candidate for this position will:

  • Develop prioritization plans for delivery of products, services, and data
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms & conditions
  • Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents
  • Consult with management on sourcing strategies, proposals, and contract development 
  • Oversee supplier activities

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • 1+ years of experience negotiating contractual terms and conditions   

                     

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain processes
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP Ariba and/or NWP or equivalent procurement system
  • 3+ years of experience with PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and  presentations        

            

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $60,350-$87,400
