Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate Industrial Security Specialist to join the Government Security team in Huntsville, AL!  This position will support various National Industrial Security Program requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists with Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  • May assist with Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities (to include inventory, distribution and destruction)
  • Supports development, implementation and administration of program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on less complex programs
  • Performs Personnel Security processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses
  • Assists in developing and conducting security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information
  • Assists in Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities performing checklists and surveys to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements
  • Assists in sub-contractor management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for the U.S Government requires U.S. Citizenship

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in Industrial Security

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
  • 1+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP and/or SCI
  • Experience with the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operating Manual (NISPOM)

Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary Pay Range: USD $65,450 - $88,550
