As an Assistant Accountant, you'll be crucial in ensuring the financial integrity of the Balance Sheet through efficient accounting and reporting processes. - As an Assistant Accountant, you’ll have full ownership of financial transactions and be responsible for producing accurate, timely reports while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies. What You’ll Do Day to Day
- Efficiently and accurately account for financial transactions
- Prepare and review GL and Sub-Ledger Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory standards
- Manage Franchise-specific accounts, ensuring their integrity and accuracy
- Maintain full responsibility for the Franchise P&L
- Resolve internal and external customer and supplier issues
- Act as a point of contact for audit requirements and ensure adherence to the Minimum Control Framework
- Continuously improve financial processes and support business growth
Helpful Skills and Qualifications
- Part-qualified accountant (AAT/CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage conflicting customer requirements with professionalism
- Organisational skills to meet deadlines and maintain high standards
- Experience in financial control with attention to detail
- A proactive approach to resolving issues and improving services
